Underground cult horror comedy The Unseen Hour presents a brand new tale of the uncanny, the macabre and the absurd. Part of a new series of strange and appalling visions of destruction. Rufus Strideforth, a blundering coward, once again encounters perilous, apocalyptic circumstances that threaten the very fabric of reality.
Three actors perform multiple roles and create live sound effects in an absurd and chaotic live radio drama. In this second stand alone story – ARACHNOPHAGE – a cowardly brain-washed idiot acts as servant to a god-cursed blood-sucking demon in a snow-bound gothic castle, only to have his world turned upside down by the arrival of a dashing vampire-killer…
Each performance of The Unseen Hour features a monologue and musical act, written and performed by guests, providing variety interludes throughout the hour of surreal old school live radio theatre.
This show: monologue written by Naz Osmanoglu. Music from MAGUIRE.
