Season One
Season 1 of Finding Folklore covers four stories, each exploring a different strand of England’s deep-rooted cultural history — from ancient myth to local fairy-tale, from religious miracle to chronicle history. Each episode features a specially researched folk song which compliments the story, performed by unique regional musicians. We discuss the context and significance of each story, and propose a historic recipe and a selection of poetry which expand on the same area of folk culture.
Season 2 is being planned for release throughout 2026 with four new stories, four new songs, four new recipes and four new poems.
